2014-2015 Visiting Scientist in National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research, Agricultural Research Service, United States Department of Agriculture.

2007 Associate Professor, Master Supervisor in Food Science at College of Food Science , Southwest University

2004-2007 PhD in Agro-product quality and food safety at the Oil Crops Research Institute (OCRI) of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS)

2001-2004 MSc in Agro-product storage and processing engineering at College of Food Science, Agricultural University of Hebei.

 

B. RESEARCH INTERESTS

Associate Professor Ma is working with Food analysis technology and Agro-product quality and food safety control. The main is high sensitivity detection technique and fast test equipment/chip research for mycotoxins and pesticide determination. The researches on the interaction of mycotoxins/pesticide with serum protein and food toxicology were the concerned research field.

 

C. ADMISSION AREA

Associate Professor Ma is willing to accept master candidates in the following research fields:

 1) Agro-product quality and food safety ;

 2) Food analysis technology (including fast test methods and equipment) for chemical contaminations and bio-toxins/mycotoxins;

3) interaction of small molecular and protein

4) Food toxicology in mycotoxins or chemical contaminations.
